Dr. Rapp is our Endodontist who specializes in root canals. Originally from Montreal, obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Toronto. After seven years in private practice, Dr. Rapp re-entered academics and attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale to complete a two year specialty in Endodontics and was the recipient of The Dr. Robert Uchin Award.

An endodontist is a root canal specialist with two or more years of advanced training, has received a certificate in endodontics from a specialized education program accredited by the Canadian Dental Association, and limits his/her practice to endodontics.

Endodontics is that branch and specialty of dentistry concerned with the morphology, physiology and pathology of the dental pulp and periradicular tissues. Its study and practice encompass the basic clinical sciences, including biology of the normal pulp, and etiology, diagnosis prevention, and treatment of diseases and injuries of the pulp and associated periradicular tissues.
